Richmond, CA (September 11, 2022) – On Wednesday afternoon, September 6, a crash was reported with a tractor-trailer on I-580 that resulted in injuries.
The police reported that the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway west of Bayview Avenue near El Cerrito. California Highway Patrol (CHP) detailed that the crash occurred between a tractor-trailer and another vehicle when they entered the same space in the roadway and collided with each other. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to overturn and was blocking multiple lanes of the highway.
Emergency personnel was immediately called to the scene. They arrived shortly thereafter and worked quickly to help the injured and provide medical care.
