Garbage Truck Accidents in California

Garbage Truck Accidents in California

Garbage truck accidents are known for being some of the most severe accidents that happen in the U.S. every year. This is due to the fact that garbage trucks are some of the largest vehicles on our roads. According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), garbage truck accidents account for approximately 100 fatalities and 1,400 injuries each year. Garbage trucks weigh approximately 40,000 pounds, which means that they are capable of causing extensive harm in the event of an accident. If you have lost somebody close to you and believe that a garbage truck driver or company is to blame, you should speak with an attorney that you can rely on.

Drivers of large trucks are supposed to exercise a duty of care so that accidents do not occur on our roads. When they do not do this and a fatal accident occurs, families often wonder where they can turn. Holding a party liable for the harm that they have caused is not always an easy thing to do. Truck companies employ big-name insurance companies who will stop at nothing to protect the rights of their employees. This can make a wrongful death claim even more complex than you expected. If you have lost somebody you love in a fatal accident, you should speak with a Sacramento fatal truck accident attorney
