San Bernardino, CA – Injury Reported in Accident with Tow Truck on I-215

San Bernardino, CA (September 23, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, September 20, a crash was reported with a tow truck on I-215 that resulted in injuries.

The police reported that the accident happened a little after 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the I-215 highway near the 210-freeway interchange. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) detailed that the crash occurred between a tow truck and a sedan when the sedan was trying to avoid traffic and collided with the rear of a Freeway Service Patrol tow truck. The force of the impact caused the sedan to become disabled.

Emergency personnel was immediately called to the scene. They arrived shortly thereafter and worked quickly to help the injured and provide medical care. Two ambulances were requested as both drivers were injured and transported by ambulance to the hospital.
