Tracy, CA – Man Killed in Fatal Semi-Truck Crash on Patterson Pass Rd 

Tracy, CA (June 23, 2022) – Around 4:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 21, a man was killed in a fatal truck accident in Tracy. 

According to Tracy Police, the accident happened on Patterson Pass Road around the area of Schulte Road. A man was driving in the area in his passenger vehicle when it was involved in a serious collision with a semi-truck due to reasons that are not yet known. The passenger vehicle was extensively damaged in the collision. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The 22-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle had to be extricated by fire crews. He was then rushed to the hospital but was tragically pronounced dead while there. A 19-year-old passenger was also hospitalized but is expected to fully recover. 

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could return to normal. 

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
