Teen Girl Hospitalized in Windsor Truck Accident Along Redwood Highway and Thrushing Avenue

WINDSOR, CALIFORNIA (September 26, 2025) – A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized after being hit by a pickup truck near the intersection of Redwood Highway and Thrushing Avenue.
Sonoma County officials are saying that the collision took place around 7:22 PM on Thursday. A 15-year-old girl was crossing the street when she was hit by a pickup truck in the intersection.
Paramedics were called to the scene to help the victim. She was rushed to a local hospital with numerous injuries. Those include fractures to the pelvis and both feet.
Authorities said that she sustained other trauma to her body, face, and head. She was airlifted to the University of California, Davis Medical Center.
A full investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
